A day built around community, connection and a lot of good energy. This shoot for JayFlex focused on capturing the atmosphere of an event that brought families and the local community together in support of an important cause, thames hospice.
From getting up close with the machinery used by JayFlex to live music, food and drinks, there was plenty happening throughout the day. My focus was on documenting the moments in between — the excitement on children’s faces, family reactions, candid interactions and the small details that brought the event to life.
Rather than simply recording what was happening, I wanted the images to reflect how the day felt: energetic, welcoming and genuinely community-driven, while highlighting the work of Thames Hospice and the people who came together to support it.
